MPC Process Flow for
Diamond recovery

MPC Concentration
Process
The principal application in the MPC classification process whereby Diamonds is recovered is based on Stokes law for settling rates of various particles as per inherent Specific Gravity (SG) this principal is further enhanced by the velocity of the fluidized slurry bed. Heavy particles are trapped behind the inverse spiral ribs from where it is cut out continuously from underneath the slurry bed. During this action the incline of the classification drum and the wash water induce cleaning of the concentrate to yield top class concentrate from where the Diamonds and other valuable crystals can be recovered with ease.
